01 · Context
Olivia opened in February 2026 on a Surco corner that had seen three failed businesses in five years. The proposition — honest Mediterranean, short menu, open kitchen — is solid. The problem was nobody knew: the advertising budget had been eaten by the build-out, and the opening coincided with a district-level hospitality downturn that left the block with less foot traffic than projected.
The owner came to us looking for two things: a site that communicated the proposition without being another "agency landing page," and a way to understand what the three Mediterranean restaurants already operating within eight blocks were doing.
02 · Approach
The new site is deliberately small: current menu, kitchen hours (not just dining-room hours), embedded OpenTable reservations, and a private-events form. Own photography, no stock. No "our story" block — the menu tells the story.
Sereno starts on day one: every Monday, a brief with prices and promotions from the three direct competitors, changes in their menus, and one concrete recommendation for the week. In week three it detected that one of them had cut its lunch prix-fixe by 17% — Olivia adjusted its own prix-fixe without matching the price, differentiating on plate size.
