01 · Context
Oh-jalá is a family business that opened in 2023 and became a neighbourhood ritual: same-day bread, croissants at eight, and a queue that wraps the corner on Saturdays. They came to us with a specific bottleneck — the business WhatsApp received more than three hundred order messages per week, and the owner was answering them one by one while kneading sourdough.
They didn't want a 'system.' They wanted to stop replying at 1 a.m.
02 · Approach
We built a WhatsApp-ordering page that requires no login, asks for no email, and sends no confirmation by email. The customer picks items from a curated list, sees the total, and opens WhatsApp with the order pre-assembled. The bakery confirms with "ready at 9:30" and that closes the loop.
The site was rebuilt around that single page. Three sections, zero forms other than the order, and an honest calendar of what gets baked which day. Loads in under 800 ms on 3G.
