We're an independent web studio. This page explains, plainly, what data we collect and why.

Who we are

Rainey Laguna is operated by Stuart John Andrew Rainey, a British citizen resident in Lima, Peru. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

• Contact form: name, email, district, business type and message. Used exclusively to reply to you.
• Instant audit: the URL you paste is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights for technical analysis. We do store the URL and the result under a random, unguessable identifier, so the /auditoria/r/… link keeps working when you share it. Those pages are published noindex, so they do not appear in search engines — but anyone with the link can read them. We never ask for an email to run an audit, and you can write to us to delete a report at any time.
• Monthly monitoring (optional): if you subscribe, we store your email, the URL and the measurement history so we can re-audit it monthly and tell you when something changes. It requires email confirmation (double opt-in) — we never write to an address that did not confirm — and every email carries an unsubscribe link that deletes the subscription.
• Basic technical data: Railway (our hosting) logs IP and user-agent for security. These logs auto-expire after 30 days.

What we don't do

• No tracking cookies or third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.).
• We don't sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• No newsletters or promotional messages unless you ask for them.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Email [email protected] and we do it.

Processors

These providers process data on our behalf, under contract, strictly for operational purposes:

• Railway (US) — site and database hosting.
• Cloudflare (US) — CDN, DNS and attack mitigation.
• Google PageSpeed Insights API (US) — technical analysis of requested URLs.
• Resend (US) — transactional email delivery.
• Anthropic (US) — processing of the technical analysis where applicable; no identifiable personal data is sent.
• Twilio / WhatsApp Business (US / Meta) — messaging channel for clients who write first.

Some of these providers are in countries that may not offer protection equivalent to Peru's. We work only with providers offering Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
